AI Software Engineer

Job Description

Talentier is seeking an AI Software Engineer with expertise in machine learning, data science, and AI model development to drive the creation of intelligent solutions for our global clients. This role focuses entirely on designing, developing, and deploying AI models and systems that solve complex business problems across various industries such as healthcare, finance, retail, and technology.


You will work closely with software engineers, and product teams to deliver innovative, AI-powered applications that meet specific client needs.


The ideal candidate has strong experience with machine learning frameworks, model deployment, data processing pipelines, and algorithms. You’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of AI projects, including model development, data preprocessing, and implementing scalable solutions in production.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and Deploy AI Models:

Design, build, and optimize AI models tailored to specific use cases, focusing on scalability and reliability.


Example: Build a fraud detection model for a financial client using deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.


Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:

Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into client solutions.


Example: Collaborate with the engineering team to embed a recommendation algorithm within an e-commerce application.


Optimize and Maintain Data Pipelines:

Create data pipelines to process, clean, and manage large datasets for effective AI model training and real-time predictions.


Example: Develop an ETL pipeline that streams and preprocesses data for a real-time customer analytics model.


Deploy Models in Production Environments:

Use cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure to deploy machine learning models, ensuring they are reliable and scalable.


Example: Deploy a natural language processing model for a chatbot using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS.


Perform Model Testing and Validation:

Conduct thorough testing to validate model accuracy and ensure robustness in real-world applications.


Example: Use cross-validation techniques to verify model performance and avoid overfitting on healthcare data.


Stay Updated with AI and ML Trends:

Continuously research and integrate the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science into ongoing projects.


Example: Explore recent advancements in transformer models for natural language processing tasks.

Job Requirements

Relevant Experience:

2+ years of experience in AI software engineering, machine learning, or data science.


Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.


Strong Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to design and implement AI models that solve real-world challenges, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.


Excellent Communication Skills:

Fluent in English with the capability to work in a remote, multicultural team.


Proactive and Self-Motivated:

Capable of working independently and managing AI projects from concept to completion.
